Snake with foot found in China (oh, come on!)

Really?
This quote says it all:
"Dean Qiongxiu, 66, said she discovered the reptile clinging to the wall of her bedroom with its talons in the middle of the night."
1. Dean is a boy's name. Everybody knows this.
2. Clinging to the wall of her bedroom with its talons? So not only is it a snake that has a 100 million year genetic throwback, but it's also still got the ability not only to control that foot but to HOP UP A WALL with it?
If it is all real and I'm just a cynic, Dean had better realise that she just beat to death her best chance of owning a world-class freakshow.
It looks to me more like someone's stuck a fake arm on a snake with superglue and picked a bad fake name. Someone, please correct me.
